Range = 21 – 3 = 18

Now, Median = center value of the given data

First quartile = Q_{1} = Median of data values present at the left side of Median

Q_{1} = (5+7)/2 = 12/2 = 6

Third quartile = Q_{3} = Median of data values present at the right side of Median
