They are only found in the Slayer Tower, either on the top floor or in the basement. The gargoyles in the basement of the Slayer Tower can only be killed while on a Slayer task, as Raulyn will stop the player if they attempt to fight them off-task. Gargoyles have a Superior slayer monster variant, the level 349 marble gargoyle. Gargoyles also have a chance to drop the brittle key, which gives permanent access to the Grotesque Guardians at the top of the Slayer Tower, a boss variant of the monster.
