They are only found in the Slayer Tower, either on the top floor or in the basem*nt. The gargoyles in the basem*nt of the Slayer Tower can only be killed while on a Slayer task, as Raulyn will stop the player if they attempt to fight them off-task. Gargoyles have a Superior slayer monster variant, the level 349 marble gargoyle. Gargoyles also have a chance to drop the brittle key, which gives permanent access to the Grotesque Guardians at the top of the Slayer Tower, a boss variant of the monster.
